Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Overland Park has served the Overland Park community for over 28 years. Our years of experience have allowed us to refine our programs and offer a linear, cohesive curriculum that’s available online and in-person. This effective structure gives students an opportunity to understand and view their growth from the beginning. Our History:

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Overland Park owner Dave Johnson has been teaching since 1980. Dave first served his community as a parks and recreation teacher by day and a martial arts student in the evening while working fulltime. As his classes progressed, he noticed the need for a martial arts school in the area. Finally, he decided to take action to meet that need. With the support of his students he opened his first martial arts school in 1995 at Stanley Station Shopping Center.
